Folks longing for summer will enjoy the Churdan library’s fundraiser supper Monday, Feb. 9, at the Paton-Churdan school. The librarians, library board members and volunteers are serving a summertime picnic of grilled hamburgers and hotdogs, baked beans, chips, relishes and desserts.
Serving will be from 5 to 7 pm. The Rockets host Woodbine in a girl/boy basketball twin bill that evening, the last regular season game. The girls game starts at 6 pm with the boys game following at about 7:30.
Proceeds from the free will donation supper will go to the library’s building fund.
